Sometimes you just need to make a tiny book! I needed a project to get me through a bad week at work a little while ago, and I thought of this short story. It ended up being an octavo of about 100 pages. Cover is Asahi, and the marbled paper was made by @duran-binding.

Everything is stressful right now and will probably be getting more so in the future, so I expect I will be binding a lot to help deal with it. I hope you are all taking care of yourselves.

This is a beautiful work of art, I love it so much! Was talking with friends (real life friends who I got to see for real! Transcendental, can’t believe we used to do that every day) about the meditative quality of making something creative, with your hands. Interestingly, this story is my creative outlet to process the v stressful experience of moving to another country - a nice unity of purpose to make this book!
