I think if Dean was trapped in a Djinn dream it'd show him a life where he had a kid and was the best father because in real life Dean desperately wants to be a father but he thinks he'd screw it up or that the kid would end up hating him just like Sam who doesn't want to be his brother

Anon is definitely getting her/his ideas from “What Is And What Should Never Be” (2x20). You know… where the Djinn let Dean believe he had some normal apple pie life, a great girlfriend, his mother still alive, Sammy at law school, Jess still alive… their father died in a normal & non-supernatural way. BUT… Sam and Dean were only brothers by blood. There was no connection between them and Sam looked down on Dean, instead of up. It was terrible. “..since when do you call me Sammy?” *ugly sobbing*

The year is 2068. Sam Winchester is 85 years old. He begins to suffer severe heart problems caused by being old as fuck. Dean gets in his motorized wheelchair and goes to the nearest crossroads at a speed of 3mph and trades his soul for Sam’s life. It is at this point that even the crossroads demons are beginning to worry about the Winchesters’ unhealthy codependency problems.
