Some backstory: I (28F) recently got abandoned by my friends in this giant evil lair. I snuck around in the vents for a while and even though I was hiding I got a lot of science done, like a lot more than I usually am able to get done. So then this cat (20s F) come along and is all ‘hey join our side and you can do science’ and I LOVE science so I said yes.

But then a few days later I needed a screwdriver for this project I was working on and I broke in to the cat’s boss’s (??M) lab (he calls it a sanctum 😍🤤) to take one and I saw he hadn’t insulated these cables and long story short, I designed his new armor and we made this portal and I think I might love him.

So here’s the question: is it okay to date someone who uses uninsulated cables? Like, is that a red flag or should I go for it?
