buck: eddie mode permanently activated
Eddie was having a minor panic attack, that Buck helped him avoid, he seemed at first struggling to breath - when Buck asks if he’s okay, it seems like it was the first time Eddie was able to take a deep breath before speaking.
After Buck says “We put it away and we Save the next one.” He hands him a new canister of Oxygen.
Buck is not just Eddie’s anchor in that moment, it’s Buck’s way of saying “I’ll breath for you, I’ll make sure you have a new canister of Oxygen, all you need to do is let me.”

Buck legit ran where there were open shots being fired without a fucking care in this world because he needed to make sure Eddie was ok. Let’s think about this for a second. He literally ran the second he heard a gun shot, knowing there was a possibility for more shots to be fired. He didn’t care at all. He just needed to be with Eddie. Needed to make sure Eddie was safe, that he wasn’t shot again. Cmon guys, that’s literally the definition of love.
That’s the purest form of love!!! I was not surprised at all!!
It was such a beautiful scene!! And if there wasn’t the whole heart transplant thing he would have hugged the life out of Eddie!!!
I bet you Eddie pulled a Buck and returned to work before the time assigned to him and this is a residual side effects if his injury.
I can't wait for some panicked 118 firefam and reproachfull yet very protective Buck.
