First watch, intermittent viewing style, I gotta say three things:
* The rest of the episode looks way more interesting than the pale love story we’re forced to watch.
* I love Toni! - There is no way around it, I just love her!! She is the best addition to the guest stars cast I’ve seen in a LONG time.
* Buck’s face reminded me of my own when I told one of my exes I loved him back. I mean you’re supposed to be overjoyed, it should be done with a smile on your face. There was no such thing, just like I told my own ex (waited for the next morning) that I loved him, because I felt bad for not saying it back, it looked like the same kind of case here. - Buck’s face literally said “Where the hell did that come from?!”
I don’t know what the future hold at this point, I can tell you my relationship held 7 months after this, then I broke it off - so imo I don’t foresee much more for BT, but with Tim insisting on cramming this crappy ship down our throats, only time will tell.
I do love that Oliver (not unlike Ryan btw when he was paired with GW) does not look into it AT ALL, it’s not just the IG stories, it the way he acts, like he can’t find his bearings with her, and looks like he’s ready to move on from this.
Now, I’m going to finish something I have to work on, then I’ll watch the rest of the episode properly.
PS. What’s with the promos showing big rescues, that somehow take up 10 mins tops of the episode, and then it’s something else completely?!
I’m saying this with all the love I can muster, BUT ISN’T THIS A FIREFIGHTING SHOW?? WHAT’S WITH ALL THE COLD CASES EPISODES? AND THE REPORTING?? - it has nothing to do with 9-1-1 - I mean this is the name of the show right??
Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the good detective stories every now and again, and this episode was thoroughly enjoying as far as that part was concerned, but this has become a trend recently and the showrunners may need to consider a change in the show’s name. 🤷♀️
