Things I need to express bc apparently parents don't get it:

Your child is not a fucking trophy, stop acting like they are

Your child is not your personal therapist or counselor, you should not be venting your problems to them

Your child should not fear you, EVER.

Just because you housed and fed them doesn't make you parent of the year, that is the bare fucking minimum of being a parent

Hitting your kid is abuse. There is no ifs, ands or buts, it is abuse.

Getting angry at your child when they want to learn but remain untaught is not their fault. You should be putting in the effort to help and guide them, not get angry st them when they don't understand.

I once went on a discord server with like three thousand people (at least 70% were online) and were being really nice!

Watched as hundreds of people started spamming me through the general chat about it, and then it was like a literal war.

I watched this go on for two fucking hours before a admin came online.

Timeskip twenty minutes later, I was banned :)
