Camping.

I survived my first adult camping trip!  It was so fun that we are planning to attend the next party in March.  The set-up was like nothing I could have imagined.  We got there later than planned so it was already dark when we arrived.  This first collage is of that night.  It was so dark that pictures were almost impossible but I did my best. 

You're looking at my hubby doing his thang, a cool shot of the DJ "booth, the bonfire complete with a burning chair that broke on my friend as he was sitting in it and said friend sporting a crazy amount of glow bracelets on his hat.  In the dark all you could see was this floating halo of glow bracelets walking around.

After being up 24 hours; it was time to sleep.  I went to sleep and woke to the sounds of the forest.  This next collage is my first daylight view of the property through the tent screen, then the full view outside, my hubby making coffee & scrambled eggs and finally those eggs.  Damn they were good.

Here is me enjoying my coffee, it was still pretty chilly out.  Hence the heater at my feet covered in slipper boots.  My hubby being silly and a partial panoramic of the campsite.

We couldn't stay the second night because we both had work obligations Sunday so we took some time to check the place out.  These are my favorite shots out of that little venture.  

I ended up barefoot again on the venture and just felt so connected to everything.  Nature, myself and the whole big world.  Then I spotted a scary caterpillar in my path and later some dung....so I'll just say my feet were cleaned quite thoroughly when we got home.

In the midst of all this craziness I still managed to get my December Yoga Challenge photos done and for that I am quite proud.

And then I hug them back tighter and it's like the hug will never end...

Can't sleep. So glad it's only hours now and we'll be hanging out. Sometimes the distance is unbearable.

Lazy Sunday

What a perfect start to the day that marks a big change for me.

I was up early and at the studio for a relaxing, free flowing personal practice.  Video currently uploading to YouTube (high speed time lapse rocks my socks off!).  Had the studio all to myself which doesn't always happen so I got to jam out.

Now my new playlist is rocking and I'm headed to the shower.  Gotta wash this beach hair, ughhh.  Super cute outfit awaits my plans with a buddy I haven't seen in months.  We're gonna kill this town with our intense level of fun....even bringing my gun just in case we end up at the range.
