WIP W— (checks calendar) THURSDAY
I actually meant to post this yesterday but I’ve been so distracted by little projects I’ve been doing that I’ve COMPLETELY sucked on Tumblr!
—From One Knight: (forgive me, I’m on my phone and can’t format it the way I usually do!)—
He found a towel tucked against the wall, and dried up, wrapping it around himself while he looked at himself in the mirror. Yeah, he did look a bit tired. Grab some food and try to sleep, that was the best plan.
He ran his hand through his hair, fisting it in a clump, thinking of the sheers in his bag and how short to cut it.
“Your hair is so soft,” she said, running her whole hand through it.
“I was going to cut it when I got to the Garrison, before my new position. You saw it on its last day.”
“Oh, that’s such a shame. I like it long. But least I got to see it.”
Rolling his eyes, Link dropped his hand. It wasn’t even like he’d see her again, but his fingers brushed against his scalp and he could still close his eyes and feel her nails as she admired it.
But what if he did see her again?
Combing through his hair with his fingers, trying to neaten it up, style it, maybe, there would be no reason to cut it. No good reason, anyway… especially when he had one particularly strong reason to keep it this way.
