“In My Heart: The Adoption Project”

Where did that girl who liked to draw Reddie go???? hehehehehehee

I’ve been hired to turn a stage play about adoption into a graphic novel!!! 

The play, ‘In My Heart: The Adoption Project’ was created by a theater group who spent a year talking with people in the adoption community (adoptees, siblings of adoptees, birth parents, social workers, etc.) to weave a tale that touches on all parts of this complex narrative...and throws a little magical realism in for good measure :) 

I’m beyond grateful to be on board with a project that will bring awareness to the American Adoption experience. I’ve already learned so much myself.
