Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017) dir. Matthew Vaughn | VFX Breakdown
The thing that I hate about atheism as a movement is that it doesn’t just want to critique the hegemony of Western Christianity, it wants to kill spirituality. There is no joy, there is nothing about it that isn’t founded in a pessimism that sees itself as so self-important that it cannot exist outside of destruction. The face of atheism is a white male disgruntled ex-Christian who decided that if he can’t find joy in religion, then nobody else can. There’s a leftover missionary sensibility to “enlighten” people to atheism that exposes itself as racist, antisemitic, and islamophobic, that’s ultimately not unlike the dominance exerted through colonial Christianity
Bisexual Visibility Day [September 23rd]
Callie Torres is the longest running bisexual character in the history of television and she is played by real life bisexual Latina superhero Sara Ramirez. Over the course of her eleven seasons on Grey’s Anatomy, she was married to a man and a woman, both of whom she loved deeply. She never shied away from calling herself bisexual, whether as confrontation or as comfort. There’s really no way to overstate her impact. But she’s more than just what she accomplished. Callie was a joy to watch on TV. Smart and savvy and silly and relentlessly loyal to the people she loved.
when fandom adopts a headcanon and it spreads and gains traction and you just do not agree with it but it’s everywhere and you just

Each year on my birthday I am forced to do things I don’t want to do so my family can make me pretend to be happy
I only now saw your 3 months old post about mike before and after paige. I never realised their relationship was abusive (though definitely not healthy) but can you elaborate why Paige is Mike's abuser? I'm really interested!
here are some links to where i’ve talked about it before:
- recognizing an abusive relationship: gifs of things paige does to mike
- anon asked: “who is the abuse victim with the addiction storyline you mentioned?” and i say mike and explain and list all the things paige does to him
- gifset example of sexual violence
- the foxtrap line in season 2 (how yes, mike is still a victim when he cried while explaining how he felt like he was mutilating part of himself while watching her get hurt and not being able to do anything about it)
- a general psa where i use mike as the example for abuse against male characters
- why nobody should say “paige probably just has some mental disorder and therefore can’t be held accountable for her actions” and how mike is actually the one with the canonical neurodivergence (ADHD), and how neurodivergent people are much more likely to be victims than abusers
1) important reading here
2) yeah so one of these trips to school was @ me from a while back, and I just wanna publicly apologize to my followers who may have read that misinformed/ignorant fuckery at the time. I have Learned since then, I promise, and will try not to be gross in the future
You have allowed this dark lord to twist your mind, until now, until now you’ve become the very thing you swore to destroy.
can we replace the kardashians tv show with keeping up with the obamas because i’m gonna miss them a lot and i still wanna know what they’re doing all the time. how are the dogs? where does the family travel? what sort of hobbies has michelle taken up in addition to captivating the world with her intelligence, grace, and charm? what are the girls accomplishing? is obama still flirting with biden??? i need to know
Aaron Tveit and Kerry Butler singing “Seven Wonders” from Catch Me If You Can for Disaster Relief
It was amazing, even better than I imagined. I am still speechless at his voice!
On my list of things that make me smile: Aaron Tveit being interviewed by Broadway.com’s Paul Wontorek
MCC Theater’s annual Miscast Gala features Broadway stars performing musical numbers associated with roles they would never get cast in. This year’s event, which honored MCC alum Marisa Tomei, was held Monday night at the Hammerstein Ballroom at the Manhattan Center. Grease: Live’s Aaron Tveit tackled the Rent duet “Take Me or Leave Me” with She Loves Me star Gavin Creel; The Color Purple’s Cynthia Erivo slayed “A Piece of Sky” from Yentl; and Kimmy Schmidt breakout Tituss Burgess lured his boss Tina Fey onstage for a performance of “You’re Nothing Without Me” from City of Angels. But one of the most memorable performances was the one that opened the show:School of Rock’s Luca Padovan, Les Misérables’ Joshua Colley, and Kinky Boots’ Douglas Baldeo took on Hamilton’s “The Schuyler Sisters,” with an assist from On Your Feet star Ana Villafañe as Aaron Burr.
Kids are awesome! In moderation.
I’m so excited to have finally finished this comic. I’ve been working on this idea for a while, and expanded it from a shorter comic. Here is the original, and a longer description of why I don’t want kids and why that’s totally okay. Thanks for reading! P.S. I will be selling this comic, along with others at the Ice Cream Comics Expo in Iowa City April 9th!
P.P.S. You can also find it in my Etsy shop!
As a mom of three who always wanted to be a mom, I say if you don’t want kids, DO NOT LET ANYONE CHANGE YOUR MIND. To be a mom, you have to be dedicated to your children. They will absolutely change your life. It’s not an undertaking that should be taken lightly. Kids are not for everyone. It’s not a requirement to be a successful adult. And it’s no one’s business but your own.
Stand your ground. Don’t let people talk you out of your decision.
