#I have this headcanon that Pepper has always managed the stress in her life by keeping a personal diary and writing in it every night#and subsequently the adorable headcanon that she tried to talk herself out of falling for her boss for literal years in those diaries#which was basically just alternating paragraphs of gushing about him and then crossing it out and lecturing herself#and yet if this wannabe-suave motherfucker had done the same thing it would've just been hundreds of pages of 'Mr. Tony Potts'#with lopsided hearts doodled in the margins#gets the same job done in a lot fewer words. and with a lot less resistance too.
