Just doing my civic duty here.
you can be a big pig too!
tony stark ― unwelcome touches vs.welcome touches
Thanos vs. Tony, contrasting motivations
if thanos wanted to kill off half of the population because there weren’t enough resources……..but then snapped half of the vegetation and animals (according to the russos)……..then isn’t he back at square one……………and there aren’t enough resources for the population……………
what about……..all of the empty and abandoned planets……..he couldn’t have restributed populations there? or like………..what about endangered species they’re pretty much gone now thanks to T Hanos…………..he really didn’t think this through………….
this is deadass what part 4 is gonna be. like he’s gonna realize “huh…. maybe this wasn’t a good idea” and reverse time.
Or he literally could have just doubled the resources
Maybe I’m wrong but all he would need is the Space Stone to teleport and redistribute resources + life. But I guess killing half of all life made more sense.
Or he could’ve just created more planets and teleported the halfs but a bitch is too dumb
He can throw a moon for a fight but teleporting some resources is too much work?
He can change reality but he uses it to fake his death and do a power point presentation?
He has the time stone, in which he could literally go back in time and save his home planet ….not by killing half of them …but by using these new powers?
Writers bad
Not knocking any of these points, all of them are good and valid and definitely should have been addressed in the movies.
But you guys
He’s literally called “The Mad Titan” for this exact reason. Of course his logic is horrifically flawed and stupid and only makes sense to him.
I genuinely think that after Black Panther people forgot that villains didn’t HAVE to be kind of right for a story to be good?
Like…NO ONE who mattered in the narrative, and I’m POSITIVE no one in the creative process, thought Thanos was right.
Now if people were saying this stuff to the #ThanosWasRight crowd, THEN I’d be all for this kinda thinking, but no, they’re just using it to badmouth Infinity War because a certain section of the fandom is bitter Domestic Avengers was never really canon, and will badmouth almost every MCU movie involving the original Avengers until they’re blue in the face, because for some ungodly reason, some people (and it’s not just in this fandom, it’s in SO many fandoms, lookin’ at you Star Wars) have decided that if a story doesn’t go EXACTLY how they wanted, it’s bad.
Like, feel free to dislike the movies, but can you pleeeeease find a new reason other than “Thanos’ plan was dumb”?? And i’m SORRY that none of the Avengers brought up these points, but they probably reached the conclusion that Thanos couldn’t be reasoned with, AND THEY WERE PROBABLY RIGHT. Like, once you get to the point where killing half of all life seems like a good idea, you’re pretty beyond reason.
You’re REALLY telling me you’d debate a fucker who not only wanted to do this but had the means, or would you probably start trying to take him down, ESPECIALLY if you happened to be of the superhero persuasion?
Nebula should be the one to kill Thanos. Not Steve, not Thor, not Carol, NEBULA.
that’s it that’s the post
