Aaron Behind The Scenes Les Mis Oscars Footage
This past Spring, footage of Les Mis rehearsal for the 85th Oscars was released and featured our *favorite* barricade boy! It was so great to see this footage after all this time :::cough Directors cut next cough::::! Aaron took it a step further and posted the selfie he’s seen taking in the video and linked the video in his profile!
Samantha Barks, Aaron Tveit, and Fra Fee are all gonna be on broadway this coming season and there better be some kind of Les Mis Reunion

Eddie Redmayne is Jean Valjean, Aaron Tveit is the infamous Javert, George Blagden is Bishop Myriel, Samantha Barks and Killian Donnelly are the Thenaudiers, and Daniel Huttlestone is Marius

‘Amanda Seyfried (Cosette) “I hit the camera a million times, I’m sure. There was one time when Hugh [Jackman] had a laughing fit on my close-up … it ruined my moment!”
Daniel Huttlestone (Gavroche) “I got hit in the eye with a mic once.”
Eddie Redmayne (Marius) “It was continually awkward. But Tom made us very aware of that early on. In rehearsal, we sat across the table and he’d go, ‘Right, let’s rehearse it … Action!’ And then he’d come right up to about here [demonstrates by putting his hand within an inch of Vulture’s face]. So we knew what was in store.”
Samantha Barks (Éponine) “Because Tom Hooper would actually dress the cameramen [in costume] as students, they’d all run around, and one time, I was like, ‘Bah! There’s a camera right there and I didn’t know!’”
Aaron Tveit (Enjolras) “At first it was something we had to get used to. It was a lot of handheld cameras, so it was a camera and a cameraman — some dude dressed in period costume with a camera in my face. But then, just like anything else, you just have to forget the camera is there, so eventually, we did.”

“Samantha is very observing and she is pretty serene on set. I mean, this didn’t at all seemed like it was her first experience on a film set, and I think the confidence that she brought with her was just because she knew the character so well, she’s been the character for so long and she is such an accomplished singer, she is a beautiful singer. I think that her ease kinda helped us in a way.” amanda
“[Amanda and I] actually bond. I’d been on set with all boys on the barricades. For a few weeks, I was the only girl on set, and Amanda arrived and I was like, ‘Yay, I can be girly!’ It was fantastic, I got along with Amanda so well. We were in London and we had a picnic, and that was one of our earlier bonding experiences. She is brilliant and she’s so beautiful in this film. And it doesn’t help that she is devastatingly beautiful, her hair is so stunning.” samantha
