““Glory” was always that sensational song, that really focused… it was really the moment that the play began, when the real stakes of the musical reveal themselves, so I always love that song. And then, that song, as you could imagine, took on even more extraordinary relevance after Jonathan died. The night following Jonathan’s death, the company all did a scene-through of the material. […] We did sort of like a table read, and when Adam sang “Glory”… And it was very clear that he was singing Jonathan’s experience that just… you know.
