Okay so I was watching Les Mis (again) and something I haven’t noticed before just destroyed me.. And because I don’t like suffering alone, I decided to share my pain with you.

So Valjean took wounded Marius and hid from the National Guards.
But at the same Combeferre, Courfeyrac, Joly and Enjolras were upstairs.
And when Ferre, Courf and Joly were shot, Valjean must have heard the gunshots.
And the thing I haven’t noticed before is the pain on his face, when the boys died. It’s just too much.
