hayden christensen is so dearly loved by millennials because he had incredibly high expectations placed on him, was utterly failed by the old bigot who was supposed to be mentoring and helping him, was consequently reviled mocked and hated by the older generation, and so went into hiding on a farm in canada for the rest of his life. which is quite honestly the millennial experience/dream

#I used to feel like the only one who loved Hayden and I'm so glad it's not just me anymore#also don't forget he was working under TERRIBLE direction#like there were MANY moments where HIS ACTING WAS ACTUALLY REALLY FUCKING GOOD#but then Lucas kept making him drama queen it the fuck out in the big moments#I JUST HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS ABOUT HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN#Star Wars#prequels#Hayden Christensen

They could have just fit some really tall guy in it and got away with it but I begged and pleaded and they were nice enough to build a Darth Vader suit that actually fit me.
#OH GOD#say what you will about Hayden (and much of it will probably be true)#but he tried so hard (way too hard sometimes shhhh) and he DESERVED to get to wear the suit#I'm so glad they did this for him#the scripts may have been 70% crap and the directing may have been shit and he may have overacted#and all of that may have kind of ruined his potential career a little bit or a lot#but at least he will always get to say that he was officially Darth Vader and that's pretty fucking cool#I hope he's still happy about that#Hayden Christensen#Star Wars#Episode III#Revenge of the Sith#BTS#Darth Vader
