Hello! I'm super excited for it, I'm such a sucker for TNBC books.
I've never read any of the Disney Twisted Tales series, so I don't know what usually happens in them, but I hope to see a darker 'twist' on Christmas Town and the story. There's a lot of potential for that with TNBC, in my opinion! And I can't wait to see more focus on Sally. Maybe seeing Krampus or an emphasis on the 'Naughty List' would be cool!
As an avid Jack X Sally fan, I hope they still have a romance in there, and that it's something more developed than it was in the movie, since the synopsis is very promising in that aspect!
The sequel to Long Live the Pumpkin Queen, being written by Megan Shepherd, is off for editing! Here's hoping we get a synopsis + cover soon sometime this year!
In a deleted concept for Nightmare Before Christmas there was a scrapped ending where that it was gonna be revealed that Oggie Boogie was Dr Finklestein (Sally's creator) in disguise and his plan was to traumatize Sally so much that she'll stop trying to run away from him.
Personally that twist doesn't make sense in the matters of the overall story and I'm so happy they didn't go through with it, however in the scrapped storyboard the doctor calls Jack an "oblivious twit" for not realizing Sally is in love with him and that was something I needed to hear so badly and I loved it XD
ok i KNOW it’s summer but my TNBC obsession came back with the force of a sledgehammer to the head.
The last picture is a screenshot study that i made with markers around 2010-ish. I added some minor color corrections and depth of field just to make it pop a bit.
