Hooker, The Twilight Zone) - Bill, love him or hate him (or both), he was a total bombshell in his youth with big hazel puppy-dog eyes, long eyelashes, and an infectious smile. Never mind his fabulous arms. One magazine billed him as “TV’s New Prince Charming,” and he really was THAT ridiculously pretty. Also the face of James T. Kirk, one of the most iconic, influential, and earnestly GOOD pop culture characters of all time. Despite his often-parodied Shakespearean style, he always delivers inspirational speeches with total conviction. And his trademark “shoulder grab” move…swoon! I’d crown him the champion in a pretty man contest every time.

i love it when characters are codependent. i love it when losing someone feels like losing a limb. i love it when two people "complete" each other so wholly and terribly that one can barely function without the other. i love it when the fear of losing the only person who understands them is so all-consuming they'll destroy anything to stay together, including themselves.

doctor who is such a wild show because some episodes will be like “humanity endures. for all our flaws we are stubborn enough, optimistic enough, brilliant enough, to keep on surviving. despite all the pain and loss and tragedy, we keep going. across centuries and galaxies, to the very end of the universe.” and some episodes are like “look there’s a giant space whale” and you never know what you’re gonna get
#being a fan of doctor who and Star Trek at the same time is so much fun bc this is EXACTLY what star trek is like#star trek episodes can be all about the need to not be alone but sacrificing that basic human need for the greater good#and what is the greater good anyway?
