As much as I hate the angst going on, one thing I like about this episode i that it shows no-relationships-no-commitment Chris was absolutely lying and protecting herself last week, she LOVES spock, she adores him, she wants to be with him, and it’s already such a deep, intense love, and it mirrors what she has for him in TOS and i love to see that
