Your first time is NOT supposed to hurt
You are NOT supposed to bleed
If you bleed, that is NOT your hymen being ‘popped’, it is a tear due to lack of sexual arousal and natural lubrication.
This is all a MYTH perpetrated by men so they don’t have to make sure you are comfortable and sufficiently aroused enough before you have sex with them. It is an excuse to disregard and hurt you.
I just really want women to know this.
The fact that this post's main objective seems to be to blame men if a female feels any pain at all during their first time pisses me off.
Stop getting it in your heads that men are to blame for everything. Stop.
On top of that, yes...sometimes your first time can hurt. You may be too tense and nervous and your muscles aren't relaxed enough. It could be that you aren't aroused enough. Some women will feel discomfort from their hymen tearing (not all women, mind you, as most women tear their hymens at other points in their life from doing something as mundane as riding a bike).
The one thing that this post does get sort of right is yes, if you are bleeding it could be from a tear. HOWEVER. It could also be from your hymen, omfg. There are actually a few different reasons why you may bleed during your first time.
What you need to remember is communication, people. If you something hurts, if sex is really painful for you, anything, then say something. Most men will not continue if you are in actual pain and need to stop. If something is wrong, SAY SOMETHING IS WRONG. If soemthing just doesn't feel right to you, then say so and stop and then figure out what's going on. If you can't figure it out between the two of you, then go see a doctor.
Oh...one last thing: MOST MEN WANT YOU TO BE COMFORTABLE DURING SEX AND TO ENJOY IT. Kthanksbye.
