Castiel + Favorite Shots
“The character Sam is played by Jared who’s 6'5" so he looks down upon everything. Rarely does he look up, and to look up is to be vulnerable.“
Richard Speight Jr. in the audio commentary for 11x08 Just My Imagination
for @seraphcastiel‘s (very belated 😅) 25th birthday CAS-A-PALOOZA 🎊🎉
make me choose → @criminalbirb asked Dean and Sam Winchester or Nathan and Sam Drake
↳“Don’t you dare think there is anything, past or present, that I would put in front of you.”
you talking about retiring? you? ; or dean’s unfulfilled life.
Like, I get it. I get what they’re trying to do with this prequel, and I understand. I do. But that doesn’t change the fact that I think it’s unnecessary.
We already know most of the important parts of John and Mary’s story.
We’ve already seen their earlier days, where they were just dating and happy (ish). We’ve seen what Mary’s life was like back then and we know a cupid helped get them together because destiny and shit. We’ve seen the choice Mary is forced to make to save John, the choice that sets in motion the entire series. We see them a little later on, when Mary is pregnant with Dean (?). And we know what happens to both of them after Mary dies in the pilot.
This is just my personal opinion, maybe others disagree. But I just don’t need to see anything else.
Dean Winchester + being a little kid
Rowena flirting with Castiel.
“I’m the best.”
I have more thoughts.
About the SPN finale.
I HAVE TWO MORE THINGS TO SAY
I realize I forgot two things in my previous post and I see people talking about these, so here it goes.
OKAY
I’ve had a whole 24 hours to sleep and go to work and think.
So I have more thoughts, and I want to talk about this more.
Supernatural finale spoilers under the cut
(Also, gonna make another post later this weekend being more positive and talking about how much this show means to me, etc. This is just for the finale.)
the fact that they not only killed dean off early in the episode but did it in the way that completely contrasts his character arc and development. he always thought he'd go down swinging and that's exactly why he shouldn't have, because the blaze of glory speech was always a defense to hide his fear, because he shouldn't have to cater to his father's ideas, because the whole point of the season was defying destiny and yet here he is, fulfilling the one event he always believed he was destined for.
I have thoughts and I must type them out now before I sleep, but I may be more coherent and whatnot tomorrow.
SPOILERS FOR SPN FINALE
Ever since we met, ever since I pulled you out of hell… Knowing you has changed me. Because you cared, I cared. I cared about you. I cared about Sam, I cared about Jack. I cared about the whole world because of you. You changed me, Dean. Why does this sound like a goodbye? Because it is. I love you.
