This rewatch is just really weird to me tbh

The boys are coming off almost amateur at times, not picking up on obvious demon signs and assuming that a normal looking house wouldn't contain a monster behind it (it doesn't in this episode, but come on, how many times over the season did monsters take up residence in normal looking residences).

And then this scene where Dean is all proud of his home-made emf reader and Sam kinda acts like a jerk about it, compared to 9 seasons later when Sam is praising Dean for being smart.

It just feels so weird.
