Josh Hutcherson as Jo Joe

Joe is the son of Eddie Harvelle. He always wanted to be a hunter, but his father refused to allow him. He seems to have feelings for Dana Winchester, but nothing ever happens between them. At one point, he sneaks off to go on a hunt with the Winchesters, but he eventually finds out that their mother may have been responsible for his mother's death, which strains their friendship. Eventually though, he goes off on his own to be a hunter. Joe and Eddie pop up a couple more times over the years, since they started hunting together. Sadly, in season 5, both Joe and his father are killed after Joe is attacked by hell hounds and the two choose to stay behind, blowing up the building, so that the Winchesters can escape.

Jo: You love the job.

Dean: Yea, but I'm a little twisted.

Jo: You don't think I'm a little twisted, too?

As far as that 'rumor' goes about the reason why Jo is back:

Guys...it's 99.9% false. I saw the original post. It was just someone messing around, speculating if you will. Everyone was doing it. There is no actual truth to that rumor. So, everyone can just relax.

Now, that doesn't mean that it definitely won't happen. Because we don't know. But, as of right now, there is no truth to that Jo rumor. It was just that, a rumor. It was not a spoiler.

How I feel about Sam/Jo

I see this ship on my dash all the time. And like most other ships, I respect it. I can understand it. But I don't really ship it romantically. I see Sam and Jo as being better as friends or something. I think they would have an awesome friendship. But as far as romance goes, I don't really see it. Only because I feel like she had more of a connection with Dean. And she would have been better with Dean.

How I feel about Dean/Jo

Another ship I completely understand. But again, I am not a hardcore shipper. I think this one is less popular then the slash ships, but it still has a strong and loyal fanbase. Jo was a badass character. She was coming into her own as a hunter. And she was killed far too soon. She could have kept up with Dean. Now, and please Dean/Jo shippers don't hate me, I don't necessarily ship this in the romantic sense. I can see it like that, sure. But I kind of feel like Dean saw her as more of a little sister then a potential love interest. Now, if Jo had gotten the chance to stay on longer, I definitely feel like they could have gotten together. But with the little amount of interaction we had with these two, I just feel like there wasn't alot of romantic feelings there yet. But like I said, I understand this ship. And I can see why someone would ship them. It's just something that makes sense.

13. I loved Jo.

But I felt that her character could have been used better. She did not have an important enough storyline for such a strong and BADASS character. And I wish she had never been killed off.
