Girls Gotta Stick Together - Deacury Week Day 7

Johanna first met the enigma that was Freddie Mercury when she attended the audition Brian had invited her to and she had been hesitant to go because she was kind of busy with school but in the end she did go and she couldn’t be more glad for it. 

She had met Brian a couple of times and even Roger once fleetingly but never their lead singer. With a name like Freddie, Johanna had honestly expected a guy and so she was surprised when she walked into the audition room and came face to face with a beautiful woman with long, dark hair framing her face, emphasizing her sharp cheekbones and dark eyes. 

Illness - Deacury Week Day 5

John was barely awake and already felt awful. He frowned and squeezed his eyes shut, burying his face in the pillow. Blindly, he reached for Freddie, found his naked chest and tried to pull him closer but failed spectacularly. 

    “Oh, you’re awfully warm, love. Are you sick?”

John grumbled something unintelligible, not sure what he was trying to say himself. Freddie laughed softly and gently nudged him to the side to put a hand on his forehead. 

    “You are burning up!”

Start Over - Deacury Week Day 4

A/N: Written for the prompt ‘Break Up’. Tried to write some smut to try and Escape the smut slump I am in atm, not sure if it was super successful.

John almost regretted coming to the club as soon as he entered it. It wasn’t the loud music or anything that put him off but he felt as if he stuck out awkwardly. He squeezed past a group of young men to get to the bar. He’d just order one or two drinks and then leave again. It meant he was in for a wasted night but at least he tried. 

He had to yell to get his order across and it took an eternity for it to be done- not really the bartender’s fault there were just so many people who kept trying to order drinks- and since the bar was packed, John left to find a different spot to enjoy his drink. In the end, he was standing just off to the side, leaning against the wall while he watched the people dance. 

Usually, he liked going out, dancing and drinking but he wasn’t feeling it today. He shouldn’t have come. He should have just stayed home. 

    “Hello, gorgeous.” 

Family - Deacury Week Day 2

A/N: Written for the prompt ‘Family’. Relatively short and probably without much sense but I had the idea and it needed to get out.

John smiled when his mother opened the door, letting her pull him into a hug, careful not to squish the flowers he brought her. 

    “Oh, John, it’s so good to see you again!” 

    “Hi, Mom, I missed you, too.” 

She ushered him in quickly, fussing over the flowers and went to find a vase for them. John had a quick look around just to see if anything had changed since he had been here the last time. It had been a couple of months since he had visited her since they had been on tour and busy with recording before that. He felt a little bit bad about it since he hadn’t really called either because he had been too tired to do so and had preferred to curl up with Freddie and catch some sleep. 

    “Do you want some tea, love?” 

    “Yes, thank you!”
