The Case Breakers, a team of volunteer sleuths consisting of retired police officers and true crime specialists have claimed to have uncovered the identity of The Zodiac Killer- Gary Francis Poste, who is believed to have died in 2018. The investigation process is ongoing, with detectives working tirelessly to link Poste to the Zodiac murders.
The Zodiac Killer’s infamous cypher has been solved 51 years later.
On Friday, code-breaker David Oranchak uncovered the ominous message sent by the mystery murderer. It reads:
“I HOPE YOU ARE ALL HAVING LOTS OF FUN IN TRYING TO CATCH ME THAT WASNT ME ON THE TV SHOW WHICH BRINGS UP A POINT ABOUT ME I AM NOT AFRAID OF THE GAS CHAMBER BECAUSE IT WILL SEND ME TO PARADICE ALL THE SOONER BECAUSE I NOW HAVE ENOUGH SLAVES TO WORK FOR ME WHERE EVEYONE ELSE HAS NOTHING WHEN THEY REACH PARADICE SO THEY ARE AFRAID OF DEATH I AM NOT AFRAID BECAUSE I KNOW THAT MY NEW LIFE IS LIFE WILL BE AN EASY ONE IN PARADICE DEATH”
This watch was given to Zodiac Killer suspect, Arthur Leigh Allen, as a Christmas present before any of the murders took place. The small cross symbol on the watch, above the word ‘Zodiac’, was present in many letters sent by the mystery killer to police stations and newspapers. This piece of evidence is unlikely to be sheer coincidence, and leads many experts to believe that Allen is in fact the Zodiac.
