Wait, you don’t really post nsfw so why is the tumblr change an issue for you?
lots of my stuff that isn’t nsfw is getting flagged too (and, hilariously, some of my actual nsfw content on other blogs isn’t), since the algorithms they’re using to determine what is/isn’t adult content are completely useless. but even if I wasn’t getting caught up in the flagging, I think tumblr’s been dying for a while, this change is just gonna finally stamp the last little sparks of life out of it; I’d be surprised if there were any community here at all after a year.
And more to the point, this crack down on nsfw content - a policy designed to make tumblr more palatable to apple, which in effect only really harms sex workers and independent artists - kinda just drives the point home that they *could* have been dealing with the spread of white supremacist and fascist ideology on this site for years, just couldn’t be bothered. so idk. just not really worth the energy to engage anymore
