Star Trek: Enterprise S03E13 (2004) Shran
STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE // S2E21 The Breach You asked me if I had heard stories as a child about the Antarans. My grandmother lived through the last war. I would lay in my bed at night thinking about her stories, terrified that one of those evil Antarans would climb through my window. I hope your confession makes you feel better, doctor, but it doesn't change a thing. You also asked me if I had children. I have five. And no, I never told them my grandmother's stories. When they asked me about the Antarans, I told them the truth, as best as I knew it. I told them about our military campaigns against your people, about how we demonized you, turned you into a faceless enemy. I wanted them to learn to judge people for what they really are, not what the propaganda tells them.
STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE // S2E4 Dead Stop It's ironic, in a way. The station can duplicate a dead Human body in all its exquisite detail, yet a living, simple one-celled organism is beyond its capability.
Ok!!! Enterprise s4e15 Affliction with Malcolm being interrogated (and put in the brig) by Archer.... wow this is delightful. Rewatching that scene today, I can see that Archer grabs Malcolm and gets really in his space. Like uncomfortably close. I love that Archer is a touchy guy like that. So in character. But also delightfully awful.
"Malcolm, I never would've believed that you, of all people..."
GUYS????
I definitely re-watched all that. I love the Section 31 arc so much! Over the course of the two episodes I like how Malcolm goes from being defiant and belligerent to telling Archer what colony Phlox is on and helping him transfer Trip from Columbia to Enterprise. The change of heart as he realizes where his loyalty lies is wonderful and vindicating to watch. What a great arc!!!

What's this? MB Words writing fluff???
Admiral Jonathan Archer approached the apartment door, situated on the corner of an unassuming block just off the main tramline to Starfleet Headquarters. It was a good location, and it was a shame Trip and T'Pol wouldn’t be here much longer, because he would miss having them so close.
Have some comfort for your soul ❤️💚
Challenged myself to draw a full page of characters I like who AREN'T played by Jeffrey Combs..... difficulty level: extreme

I just realized that Shran’s name still hasn’t been introduced. Archer has literally no idea what it is. He’s just there like
Archer: Oh hey it’s that guy I helped, guess he’s here to rescue me-
Shran: I JUST NEED SLEEP!
Archer: Okay buddy, thanks-
Shran: MY DEBT IS REPAID!!
Archer: Debt? But-
*all that stuff happens with the Vucans and T’Pol getting shot*
Archer, back on Enterprise: I wonder who that guy was. I never got his name…
Shran, back on the Kumari, realizing: FUCK!
He totally programmed his name/comm frequency into Archer’s PADD with the Andorian antennae equivalent of a winking emoji
Enterprise episode Twilight (S3E8) actually makes me so emotional. It's all an alternate universe, but it's so bleak. Humans are nearly extinct, and are all refugees. Earth is gone. Mars is gone. All colonies are gone. Archer is mentally incapacitated, T'Pol is a caregiver, and Trip and Reed are both captains of their own ships. There's no starfleet, no ship building program, and no hope.
Their actions in healing Archer's quantum parasites led to the destruction of the ship, the death of everyone aboard (god I just remembered the bridge being blown up, now I'm extra sad) and restoration of the correct timeline.
And I believe (from rumors) that Trip won't live to ever become captain.
It's all very sad and frustrating and totally incorrect-- Star Trek is supposed to be optimistic!!! This episode really turned those expectations on their heads, so it's such a relief when Archer wakes up in the med bay with only a mild concussion, but the little part of me that's sad about Trip can't even be happy. It's a good episode, but it makes me so emotional.
STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE // S1E17 Fusion They're not the first ones to attempt this, Captain. Others have tried to reintegrate their emotions. They all failed.

I have real proper ✨vibes✨ on the way but Jonathan Archer requested an awkward introduction into the spy-verse and I had to oblige. 😅
For @candiedsumire and @deadheaddaisy my beloved enablers 💕💕💕
Meet the crew
Newly-promoted Captain Jonathan Archer was piloting the test rig. Rumour had it he was top choice to command the Kol-Ut-Shan mission once the sensor and engine upgrades were complete.
Trip recognised him from a few Starfleet training missions they’d completed together and decided to re-introduce himself while T’Pol and Stenn were chatting with Captain Jefferies.
“Good morning, Captain,” Trip said, offering the man his hand. “I’m Commander Charles Tucker of the Technology Integration Team.”
Archer shook his hand. “Captain Jonathan Archer. I’m looking forward to putting your engine through its paces!”
His open grin shifted into a more thoughtful expression. “But I know you from somewhere... It’s Trip, isn’t it? I’ll never forget that survival training in the Australian outback!”
“That’s right, sir! If I never see another desert, it’ll be too soon!”
“Please, call me Jon.”
Trip nodded agreeably.
Jonathan leaned in and dropped his voice conspiratorially, “Is it true there’s a guy on your team living with a Vulcan?”
Trip nodded stiffly.
“I’m pretty open-minded, but wouldn’t that be like fucking a robot?” Jonathan asked, his eyes shining with mirth.
“Well, I’m afraid I wouldn’t know anything about that,” Trip said apologetically. “I’ve never fucked a robot, sir.”
Archer looked horrified and immediately opened his mouth to apologise.
With timing so impeccable Trip might have summoned her from the ether, T’Pol appeared at his elbow.
“Speak of the devil! Captain Archer, I’d like you to meet SubCommander T’Pol. T’Pol, Captain Archer here is our test pilot.”
Jonathan looked a bit queasy as he raised his hand in a Vulcan salute. “Pleased to meet you, SubCommander. I look forward to working with you.”
T’Pol took pity on him and offered a handshake, “Likewise, Captain.”
“I should go and uh, say hello to Captain Jefferies.”
“Of course, Captain,” T’Pol agreed. “Matthew speaks very highly of you.”
Archer smiled awkwardly and made his exit.
Once he’d departed, Trip turned to T’Pol in amusement, “‘Matthew’?”
“Captain Jefferies has repeatedly suggested I refer to him by his given name. It seemed appropriate in the circumstances,” she replied innocently.
Well, Trip reflected, if his heart hadn’t already been at risk, that probably would’ve done it.
Look, spy-ay-ay-ay continues with a not-quite-smooth introduction, sigh.
so here's for today, not going to do daily but I'll draw as much as I can
I tried marker pen brush and it feels good to colouring
