MARS
Duty until death.
Contains: character description, hints of world lore, character base
Mars is a being best described as a celestial. His appearance is similar to that of which we would depict angels, but not in their true biblical form. Mars's form can best be described in the following ways:
- As a being made for war and fighting, his entire physique is meant for endurance and strength, that of such has been hardened over centuries of training and war.
- Celestial beings such as him are made to use light as their advantage (which is also where the human thought of light = good comes from), so his armor is made also to reflect the light cast to blind or distract those he fights against. As well, the clothes he wears are those usually of lighter tones, mainly white, to give an enemy's eyes no chance of rest.
- A gem is inlaid on the top of his forehead, between his eyes. It's his source of mana, and as a warrior, its capacity to hold, release, and regenerate mana is higher than anything found in the mortal realm. The gem is colored a deep blue and has four points, the gem's sides swooping to connect each point. It is the same gem as all beings made as warriors have embedded in them.
- Surprisingly, each celestial being has a difference to their body's appearance. For Mars, he stands at 6'5. His eyes shine a blue lighter than the blue inlaid in his gem, and could be compared to the lightness of a calm sky or the blue of a frozen lake. He has thick white hair that reaches down to his hips.
Mars has existed for what mortals deem centuries, and has amassed enough valor that mortals have based a god after his countless battles and victories. Such information doesn't mean much to Mars other than knowing that he is fulfilling his purpose of being a warrior for his Creator. That is what he strives for most: to fulfill his purpose.
Because of such, he has become detached from his emotions. He's proficient in all forms of battle and weaponry, and kills without a single thought of doubt. He'd never once lost a battle, until recently.
In the realm of what humans may call Celestia, Heaven, or perhaps something just as simple as The Realm of the Gods, Mars has been marked as dead, fallen in battle. They sent what they assumed his corpse into the atmosphere of the mortal's world--of course in the Illud Istud Nasci realm--alongside the ones who had also befallen in the battle. Unlike them, though, Mars's body didn't burn up upon entering the atmosphere, and instead crashlanded in front of a mortal's yard. Unfortunately for said mortal, their garden was ruined.
The rest of his story is still a work in progress. Name of the story to be decided.
