This felt like the longest month of your life. Back to back exams and an abundance of unfinished group work with people who have a sense of responsibility whatsoever, coupled with having to send in job applications with no offers in return.

3. “who do you think you are?”
“Are you serious? I told you I was going to eat at home,” Dom says angrily upon noticing an empty dinner table. “I’m sorry, I’ve got a lot on my mind I completely forgot,” you say rubbing your head. “Let’s just order in, yeah? What would you like to eat?” you ask him.
“I’ve got a massive game tomorrow, I can’t just eat anything,” he crosses his arms. “Honestly, why can’t you be a little more attentive and not be so selfish for once?” he criticises, leaving you appalled with his words.
“Who do you think you are?” you raise your voice. “You may be Everton’s #9 and have a stadium full of fans chanting your name every weekend, but in this house you are my equal. You do not get to speak to me that way,” you make it clear to him, leaving you panting and breathless.

You make a run for the bathroom and slam the door behind you, making it clear to Dom that you just want to be left alone. You walk in circles for a few seconds before the door burst open.
“Just talk to me, please,” Dom pleads. “About what? There’s nothing to talk about,” you reply. “That’s a lie and you fucking know it,” he steps into your space, inches away from your face.
