After an argument with my mother - which once again wouldn't have been necessary if they had stopped when I asked them to simply end the topic - I was once again reminded of a statement that has come up more often in recent years (whenever I criticize something about her).

this switches depending on the day. You see, my husband gets hyperfixated on a certain food sometimes. At one point it was udon noodles, at another, it was a soft pretzels that Sonic sells. That shit lasted for a whole ass month and I am so sick of those things now. As for this moment I think he likes bao and mushroom soup with pho noodles. Or just pho in general.
