I wonder if Vegeta was paired with Raditz to balance out Nappa's baldness. The 3-2-1 ranking shows that their group is supposed to be representive of the Saiyan race but Raditz barely fought and hardly challenged himself- that's not very Saiyan like.🤔
I always assumed it was because he needed a weaker low-class Saiyan to boss around lol They did not expect Raditz to grow up taller than Vegeta.

I had long hair once too, i was 8 when the knots and tangles and having to pick it up before using the toilet got to me and I cut it for the first time. what if Raditz's hair is a type of weight training? I hope he doesn't have a sensitive scalp.
It is a weight training. I once joked with my friends that Raditz can’t turn into a super saiyan until half of his hair is cut off. LOL
