One day I found the way Kamski ties the flaps of his bathrobe is Japanese dead man style, so I made a joke that the real Elijah already died and an android carrying his mind took his place. Then several of my friends shared their similar ideas with me. I ship Kamski & Chloe as much as HankCon, and I like the theory that Chloe is rA9, so this comic is the result.

Drawing and painting became a bit difficult due to my vision problem. Guess I have to do greyscale stuff for a long term. So I began to add a color tone to my comics since DBH, hoping they don’t look too boring :)

Something about Kamski’s backdoor and Hank’s Japanese maple shohin. 

Inspired by the novel Century published in 2005, written by Sarah Singleton (Highly recommend this book!) ; and the last frame of the bonsai in Zen Garden, from Connor’s decommissioned ending.

On the night of July 4th I cried thousands of tears for Connor’s suicide ending after I beat the game for the 3rd time.

It was such a pain to watch him along from a cold machine saying “I’m not alive”, to a deviant feeling “like I was dying…I was scared”, still he chose to end this free life rather than be taken control of. Can’t imagine what would happen to Hank if he knows about Connor’s death.

Couldn’t sleep at all so I played with a quarter, then recalled a spy coin I bought from Fraunces Tavern in New York. So this story came from this coin. Much appreciated, Commander Washington.

After the happy ending. Just something I want them to tell each other.

The first time I beat the game I got their farewell on the rooftop, because I didn’t want Connor to be free in Jericho, by a stranger he never met. So I restarted from Crossroads, wanted to see what would happen if Connor became a deviant, then this happy ending came to me, and I love it so much.

It was fate that led me to this game. When I had to interrupt my journey in US, I bought a flight ticket and transferred at Detroit airport, and ordered the game there. 

It still took me a couple of weeks to settle everything before put my hands to the game. But it was worth such a long wait.
