Wait hold up aren't the Hunting Dogs' uniforms green?
Heya! So, this reasoning is just a guess. But there’s a chance that this is similar to what happened with Demon Slayer.
Where certain countries edited Tanjiro’s earrings because they had the rising sun on them. For those that may not know, the Rising Sun flag was originally used during the Edo period by Japanese warlords. However, during World War 2, the Japanese Imperial Army used this same flag while they overtook parts of Korea, China and a variety of other Asian countries. As a result, many Asian countries link the flag to the war crimes/atrocities that the army committed until Japan was defeated in 1945. To some, it’s on the same level of the swastika that Nazi Garmany flew and resembles a grim reminder of the past.

It’s possible that they changed the Hunting Dogs’ outfits because they have a lot of similarity to the uniforms that the Japanese wore around World War 2. So to avoid any possible controversy, especially from countries that were heavily targeted by Japan, they changed their entire color altogether. As to avoid any backlash.
For example:
^Notice the consistency of the collars and capes between the actual irl uniforms and the hunting dogs’ uniforms. The swords are also commonly seen between the officers as well.
^ The two in the far right seem to be strikingly similar from the structure of the hat- to the way the collar clings to cape.
I stumbled upon this Twitter post while trying to look for the reason, so it’s only fair to mention them! Especially since it kickstarted my research into this uniform topic.
