Nico and Will are going through a rough spot in their relationship.
He discovers/is exposed to the creeps in some way.
Toby starts romancing up Nico/trying to rizz him up and show him how he's not like Will. Nico is trying to shut him down.
He and Will keep drifting further apart bc of how much time he spends between the creeps and the underworld. Will is upset bc Nico keeps pushing him away/saying "later".
Eventually, it all gets too much, big fight between him and Nico. They break up.
Nico goes back to see the creeps.
Cue Toby, "Does your husband know you're here?" "That asshole doesn't need to know anything."
Cue bumping uglies as Nico tries to get over his feelings and Toby gives into his own.
Next time Nico goes to camp, Will tries to make up with him, Nico tells him to fuck off, bc... well, he's kinda now fwb with a guy that sees him as his own god, screw the rest of the pantheon.
Toby and Nico eventually fall in love, etc.
