after a who knows how long hiatus i actually posted the Nicoby Thanksgiving fanfic i was talking about!!!
(This is purely crack LMAOOO)
Shoko is very vague when it comes to her relationships, normally she never admits certain things to her family until she’s with some of her cousins and offhandedly mentions she’s got a boyfriend
Cue all hell breaking loose and Shoko doesn’t realize her mistake until she’s sober again which she will not admit anything ever again unless she wants nosy and gossiping family members all over her love life
Her family members going all out to find out more about Shoko’s mysterious boyfriend since she won’t tell a thing
Kinda Outsider POV at times since it’s just Shoko’s family members trying to guess at what type of person Satoru is:
“Shoko’s boyfriend is from the city, I’m betting tall and hardworking.”
“Since Shoko’s a doctor and all that maybe this boyfriend of hers is a doctor too?”
“I don’t know, I just can’t see Shoko dating some office guy that’s just too basic for her…”
“How about, someone her parents wouldn’t approve? Like a biker? Or bad boy? Am I getting my point across?”
“Does anyone know what Shoko’s type is? Maybe she slipped something out back when we were teens?”
“Not trying to call Shoko a gold digger, but what if this guy is rich? Like I wouldn’t blame her for shooting her shot with a rich guy.”
“No, that’s totally out of Shoko’s league, I’d say someone she met back in medical school, speaking of medical school how the hell did Shoko even graduate in just two years?!”
“Child prodigy am I right? So I guess at her boyfriend being a tech guy, like, works at a huge company and all that stuff.”
Then Shoko tells Satoru all of this and it’s like:
Shoko: “Satoru, I fucked up, listen, I told my family offhandedly that I had a boyfriend while I was drunk, no details, nothing like that and now they kind of want to meet you.”
Shoko: “Kind of is an understatement.”
Satoru: “Cool, so Shoko what’s the best way to impress the future in-laws?
Shoko: “My parents are probably going to invite me to some family gathering and then tell me to bring you along, so make a good impression.”
Satoru: “Got it!” *Finger guns*
Shoko fucks up big time and Satoru will not stop teasing her about it
Satoru spoiling / helping Shoko but in the most absurd ways:
“Hey Shoko here’s a phone since your old one broke”
“You’ve got a creepy neighbor? I’ll kill him, don’t worry about the evidence I can bribe people!”
“Shoko, I’ll get you a free pass with my money”
“Shoko, you need a weapon just in case? Here’s a gun!”
“You’re getting threatened to be kicked out of your apartment building Shoko? I’ll handle it don’t worry!”
“Are you getting sued for so called ‘medical malpractice’ Shoko? Don’t worry about it! I also happen to be a great lawyer too!”

Do Shoko’s med school friends ever (attempt to) confront him?
I could see them trying their best but it doesn't help that Satoru is both charming and intimidating as fuck who can switch up in less than a second so they back away and try to opt for a more less dangerous confrontation
(That is by trying to talk to Shoko herself, key word: that doesn't work out either)
I could see one of Shoko's med school friends encountering Satoru for the first time in a night out for example and seeing Satoru lurking around all shady and stuff in the dark (he just want her to get home safely)
But Shoko's like 'no, seriously, don't worry about it i can defend myself you know?'
So after Shoko's (normal) non-sorcerer friend group from med school have already encountered Satoru a few times and then they find out that Shoko's dating the guy they're like:
'there's no fucking way shoko's dating that guy, sure he's hot as hell but that doesn't take away the fact that he could be a serial killer!'
'he's gotta be yakuza, i'm being serious did you even see him?! white hair, wears some expensive sunglasses all the time, he's tall as fuck too!'
'if he's not a yakuza then he could be some crazy rich guy! like a rich cannibal guy that uses his money to keep killing people! that could explain why the fuck does shoko know how to do autopsies and open heart surgeries! she's the youngest out of all of us!'
'maybe that's why she somehow manages to survive all those goddamn muggings she gets into, not a single scratch!'
(They just worry about Shoko a little too much)
