9•20•24 || another cemetery walk where I look at pretty trees and try to read gravestones from the 1800s.
There was trash in a few places so we cleaned it up. I scrapbooked some shredded newspaper scattered on one grave. There was a crushed beer can on another grave. Usually giving a loved one alcohol means you just leave the whole beer in the can and drink another.

6•25•24 || the moon stuck around during the early morning. That sunrise was gorgeous too.
5•11•24 || got a lot done, but most importantly, the trees that were killing the main one in the middle have been cleaned out so hopefully the roots can start healing. It’s kind of swampy here, though, so maybe not. We have to get the roots out still of not just the old trees but these prickly plants that our dogs keep trying to stick their noses into. We want to put wildflowers in the area but will need to use soil we’ve put aside bc this ground isn’t good for growing anything. We’ve already had a little family of yellow finches eating from the bird feeders! Now we can see them much better.
