Hii !!

Actually i am not an expert 🥲 It depends on the person and the type of trauma they've been through. But ig the basic thing to do is to recognise your inner child and that it has been hurt in certain ways. The most important thing is to be patient and kind with yourself. Don't beat yourself up if you can't figure out things easily or if it takes more time than others. And also don't go about thinking that everything in you needs to be fixed (i used to think the same but that just makes you intellectualise your emotions rather than feeling them). You don't need fixing you just need to feel and experience everything that you suppress whatever be the reason. So breathe. Try to get in touch with your emotions when you're triggered(and also when you're happy) Get to know yourself (like ohh this thing right here made me happy and maybe i am gonna do it more often). Use different methods like journaling about them or getting to know what triggered you and what you would've liked instead. Find the things that work for you. For instance what worked for me the most was being in touch with the joys of childhood. I digged up all the hobbies and activities i used to do a long time ago but had completely forgotten about. For some reason it gave me a sense of expression. For me, it's like giving in to your instincts without thinking twice.

And remember healing never ends. You just need to learn how to cope with trauma/triggers and how to accept things you deserve without pushing them away.
