11 out of 12 (finished on 11/12 would you look at that) Remember how I said these keep getting more and more complicated? Yeah this happens every time I work on a long-term project. I went through a couple of iterations of the same idea-- I wanted to reference the Dialga and Palkia fight but focus on Volo and Giratina as the far more prominent story figure at the Spear Pillars. A lot of pushing and pulling the colors for this one- it's tricky to have so many similar values in the same place with a busy background and still have them stand out I THINK I succeeded after a heckin lot of tweaking. Might still make a couple of edits before I post the full thing.
9/12 done. And each one I keep thinking is my favorite until I make the next one.
I listened to this song the entire time I drew this to make sure the vibes are just right:
Still working on that lyric thing, but I did that thing where I accidentally put too much effort into one of the panels, so now I gotta go back and make the others match the style and quality of this one... Anyways, in the meanwhile I'm so proud of this one I decided to post it as a stand-alone image! Enjoy!
Have a sketchbook sketch Did this Pokemon RP one time where Marnie ends up going to Area Zero and falling through time, becoming Turo/Sada's lab assistant, and uses the knowledge to try to save herself from falling through time. ~*~Shenanigans~*~ Idk the paper is small, like 5x5 in. So it's an extra challenge, but takes some of the pressure off of trying to fully render an idea. But damn the expressiveness of the poses on my tiny sketches makes my brain go brr.
