new apartment buildings whose design is very reminiscent of the classic era of brutalism. one feels directly transported to the late sixties and early seventies.

eberswalder straße // berlin prenzlauer berg

near mauerpark i came across this curvaceous residential building from the weimar republic. unfortunately, I couldn't find the architect or the year of construction. the way it stands on this site, with all the gaps caused by berlin's 20th-century history surrounding it, it is a more real reflection of old berlin than some over-renovated or reconstructed buildings in the city centre.
