I’m pretty proud of how this week’s cover came out. Tried to go for a horror movie poster vibe, but ended up steering towards horror comic, which is still pretty fun, IMO.

I think the fact that he got first place is one of the best things about this anime. I really like that they are showing the reality about the world of competition.

Ikki ’s character and way of thinking is that he finds it difficult to reach the top. If he had gotten to the top, it would have seemed like a convenient development because he is the main character.

Hikaru also has a very straightforward and stoic personality when it comes to competition, so I can see why he is at the top too.
