For those of you who are unaware about the amazing comic, “My Dragon GF”, Olive, the transfem vampire is near and dear to me for a lot of reasons. This gift of a character shoved me out of the closet and made me proud to be transfem. This little floof of an anxious wreck was the character that made me feel heard and loved as a transgirl. Olive is the girl I think of whenever the gender norm police come knocking at my door. Olive is the reason I don’t tuck because she makes me proud to be who I am and that I shouldn’t change as much as I originally thought I should. I’m also getting a plush of her bat form very soon.

Olive, the transgirl vampire, was a revelation and the star that I continue to follow as I grow closer to presenting as close as I can to her. I love her with as much of a fervor as a non-tucking, vampire loving, lesbian transfem disaster can love a character.

Olive, you are a brilliant gift and if you haven’t read this comic, which is still going by the way, please do.
