Fun fact: The Spider-Verse version of Gwen Stacy isn't the only explicitly trans version of her. Last year Marvel did a mini-series called Gwen-Verse which had Gwen versions of many Marvel heroes. The Captain Marvel Gwen is a trans character!
This does raise the question though. If two versions of Gwen are trans, does that mean all versions of Gwen are trans 🤔
