Duckvember Batch #4 I don't have much time for Photoshop anymore with a little one, but here and there I get time to practice with my Copics!  Thanksgiving set me back a bit, but I'm still groovin'!

Wrong Duck: Darkwing Duck being mistaken for Donald Duck always got me.  XD  Darkwing Duck (C) Disney Childhood Duck: I struggled with this one because this prompt has been on every Duckvember I've done.  Running out of ducks!  This is Ernie from Sesame Street with his rubber ducky.  <3  Ernie (C) The Jim Henson Company Dapper Duck: None other than Donald Duck as a Dapper Dan from Disneyland!  Donald Duck (C) Disney Jobless Duck: I had to do some research for this one!  Apparently Scrooge has a cousin who leeches off of and scams people lol.  Moocher McDuck (C) Disney

1. Preschoolers don’t own apartments by themselves

2. Bert has a TWIN BROTHER with a CHILD

3. Take it up with the official German version of the show. They’ve done it way more than I ever have.

#sesame street#can we please start thinking about stuff like this?#It's one thing is somebody feels uncomfortable engaging with shipping content#from something from their childhood#but can we please stop implying people are creepy and throwing around 'child coded'#when these mofo own their own homes?#There is a difference between Elmo-- who canonically is taken care of by his parents and shown as a child monster#and Bert and Ernie#who live alone with no supervision and mention buying their own things#It gets frustrating#I've seen this same issue happen with the Spongebob fandom as well#Spongebob has a JOB#his own HOUSE#And it feels very close to infantilization of characters that could actually be coded as autistic#or somewhere on the spectrum#discourse#just in case that needs to be labeled#sorry OP for the rant
