Duckvember Day 12: Psychedelic Duck

Here I had a combination of three things in my head when I read the following title.

First I thought of Dickie Duck, the granddaughter of Glittering Goldie. A character that appeared in 1966. A very energetic girl who studies journalism at university.

Second, I remembered an old diary that was sold in 2000, of a girl called Sicodelia. So I used her colorful costume in this drawing.

And third, there is a song from my childhood called: Una chica Ye-ye, by Cachureos. That fit Dickie very well, since in Italian her name is Paperetta Ye-yè.

Duckvember Day 11: Mechanical Duck

Little B.O.Y.D. has had some minor glitches in his system. But kind and sweet Layla has decided to help him, after all she is a very advanced android.

But nothing is free in this life. So in exchange for helping him, she hopes that the sweet boy will actually give her the location of the famous hero: Duck Avenger (Paperinik).

I need to be able to read more of the Ducks' comics, they have some amazing universes. Especially the super hero version of Donald.

Duckvember Day 10: Wild Duck

Little Bubba got a couple of civilized wild friends. They'll teach him how to climb vines, while drinking a cup of tea at the same time.

I admit that I only know the 2017 Ducktales Bubba, but I like his little 1981 version. And I've been wanting to draw the other two for a while now haha

Bubba the Caveman Duck, character from Ducktales, appears in the episode: Timephoon!

Duckvember Day 09: Placid Duck

What if we pretend for a moment that we are not responsible for others? No kingdom, no people, no family, no job, no problems. Just the two of them accompanied by the warm fireplace with a simple guitar melody.

I have only read a couple of Reginella's comics, but it hurts my heart that she can't stay together with Donald. I would like to have her comics and know Italian to understand them haha

Duckvember Day 08: Frankenduck

Ever since Casandra moved into Duckula Castle, she wondered where most of the strange noises came from.

Until one night she encountered this peculiar monster that looked a bit like her cousin's nemesis. After giving him some aspirin to stop him from complaining, the two were able to have a more civilized conversation.

This monster called "The Creature" appears in the third episode of Count Duckula: One Stormy Night.

Duckvember day 07: Torpid Duck

It's winter, there's little sunlight and the cold hurts your leaves. So like any duck half plant you decide to rest. Until the intro music plays in the background and the hero appears to ruin your nap.

I've wanted to draw Dr. Bushroot from the Ducktales reboot for a long time. I've read that some people didn't like his design, but I love it 💚

Duckvember Day 06: Voracious Duck

The flames, the beautiful flames that will decorate every corner of your house. They will consume everything they touch: your bed, your curtains, your photographs, etc. Until everything is just dust.

Don Diego knows about that, because apart from being crazy, he is an experienced pyromaniac. And he will know how to start any fire, just to see your face of despair while you lose everything.

I almost lost the file of this drawing because Sai decided he didn't want it.

Duckvember Day 05: Well-to-do Duck

Everyone knows that Gladstone Glander (Donald's cousin) is the luckiest person in Duckburg.

But what if I told you that there is someone luckier than him? In fact, that his luck is so strong that it makes Gladstone's luck not work and many misfortunes happen to him?

Then that would be his beloved aunt Olivia Duck, who as soon as she sets foot in the park, is awarded for the best appearance and beauty. Like Gladstone, she does not move a single feather to work and have a comfortable life.

She appears in the comic: The Skies of Farmtown (Italian comics, Topolino).

Duckvember Day 04: Game Duck

Little Luna received a gift from the famous Darkwing Duck. A stuffed animal of himself haha

But her godfather, Uncle William, didn't like it. So he also gave her a stuffed animal of himself to face the famous hero.

Now the little girl received two free toys and will have many hours of fun.

Duckvember Day 03: Prestigious Duck

What? You don't know him? How could you not know him? He is the famous Count Duckula, who descends from a long line of vampires. His show is the most popular in all of Transylvania and everyone loves him. And he is very willing to give you his autograph and maybe turn you into one of his zombie plant servants.

I don't know if he got the word right but it is what it is haha

Duckvember Day 02: Venomous Duck

It is said that men are more violent in killing, while women are more subtle.

I don't think Strawberry is that kind of woman, but I know she is a motherly woman who loves her family. So hearing other people talk badly about her children or her husband will only make the next cupcakes the last ones.

I've been wanting to draw Strawberry for a while, although I hope to make a better fanart for the next one.

Duckvember Day 01: Occult Duck

For a moment I thought about drawing Magica De Spell, but then I remembered her handsome brother. I guess he could read your future, in private hehe

I dared to join the Duckvember event that happens on Tumblr. This month I will only draw ducks. I will not do lineart because I would never finish.

Put a candle on my hand because I will destroy it this month.
