I follow Jesus Christ ✝️. I'm 33 years old. I am currently doing the "Bible in a Year", would you like to be prayer buddies? I am a woman rooted in and moving ever more towards traditionalism. 🌻 Slytherin House. 💚🐍 I'm very much into spirituality, it is the natural development when dealing with trauma. 🌱 I love languages and history and nature and learning about people. I'm a fan of many things, books and art and stories. And there is so much more, feel free if you want to ask. 💖

I have to say that Lily Bart and Blanche DuBois share a considerable vibe in Gillian Anderson's inner landscape (I have watched "A Streetcar named Desire" last night and I'm massively blown away by it still!) .

Ever since I started becoming familiar with parts-work, I have been ever more interested in the roles that actors pick and see them differently but with more interest and enjoyment often. There is a whole essay to say about that but I really just wanted to say that they have a very similar vibe as characters. I think I prefer Blanche DuBois a bit though for her unsuspecting way, my heart did very doting and bursting and caring things when I watched everything starting from Blanche's birthday, that still has me in shambles! Gillian did an extraordinary job, I don't think this is comparable to anything I've seen before. It's achingly beautiful, is all I can say. 💖

I’m a strong believer in Sarah Gadon as Narcissa but may I present you with

Lea Seydoux

Narcissa Malfoy was always one of the biggest miscasts in the 'Harry Potter' movies in my opinion. Helen McCrory was a wonderful actress and may God rest her soul. 🙏🏼

But when I was reading the books, Narcissa looked very different. I was very disappointed when I saw her in the movies for the first time. But so far it is indeed very difficult to find the right actress for her. While Sarah Gadon and Lea Seydoux are wonderful ideas, I still find them not quite fitting because they are too soft, so to speak. Narcissa would be a more harsh, more straight faced woman, very beautiful though and still a great mother. But more austere.

I'm still trying to find someone, who looks a little bit like what I mean. I thought of a woman like Nicole Kidman or Tilda Swinton or even Meryl Streep when she was young. It still isn't it because Nicole Kidman is too angular, Tilda Swinton is too unelegant and a different kind of dark and Meryl Streep is a bit too warm and hearty. I still hope I will find a picture one day of a woman who looks like Narcissa Malfoy looks to me. I've found some women who look a bit more like what I was seeing in my mind though. They're models/ ballet dancers.

I think that Alexandra Waterbury has a lot of what I meant, she's just a bit too young still. But I love her air-like energy.

I also found Caroline Lossberg, who does have lots of the right features in her face like I imagined. I could imagine her with platinum blonde hair.

And lastly I found Ella Richards, who also shares some fitting facial features in my opinion. I especially love her slight look of haughty indifference, that seems very Narcissa-like.

I had even thought of Claudia Schiffer at some point but eventually she's too girlish and playful for Narcissa I think.
