The line of comics, graphic novels, and more, based on the adventures of popular web series Critical Role, continues to grow! The comic series Vox Machina Origins III (6 issues total) and The Tales of Exandria: The Bright Queen (4 issues total) continue in single issues, and will be collected in graphic novels once complete.
The Mighty Nein Origins is a series of graphic novels, which began with Jester Lavorre's tale, available now--and continues in 2022 with the next several installments! See what's coming up next from Dark Horse and our friends at Critical Role:
The second book in The Mighty Nein Origins graphic novel series features Caleb Widogast! By Jody Houser, Selina Espiritu, Diana Sousa, Ariana Maher, with Matt Mercer and Liam O'Brien. Available beginning February 2, 2022 (comic shops date -- updated Jan. 23), Caleb's story follows Jester's in this new series that dives into the pasts of the beloved characters who would become the Mighty Nein in Critical Role's Campaign 2.
The third book in The Mighty Nein Origins will feature Yasha! Yasha's tale is told by Cecil Castellucci with Will Kirkby, Diana Sousa, and Ariana Maher, and Matt Mercer and Ashley Johnson.
Next in 2022, we'll turn back to The Tales of Exandria: The Bright Queen. The paperback graphic novel will collect all 4 issues of this miniseries by Darcy Van Poelgeest, Cris Peter, Coupleofkooks, and Ariana Maher, with Matt Mercer as always. Available in June 2022:
As you can see at the link above, the Bright Queen collection will be followed by the Vox Machina Origins Series III collection! These comics are by Jody Houser, Olivia Samson, MSASSYK, Diana Sousa, and Ariana Maher, with Matt Mercer.
After that, The Mighty Nein Origins series will continue, with the next characters to be featured including Nott the Brave and Fjord Stone. Stay tuned for more to come!
