A/N: I’ve been wanting to write a fic that combined all of my favourite tropes together and also make the reader a medical student, so here we are! 

“Look. I’m… not that kind of doctor”, tried to explain Dr. Banner, as you insisted on his door. He was wearing his pajamas, with a mug of what smelled like hot cocoa on one hand. You knew this was inappropriate —to say the least—, but you couldn't wait another second. Each time you tried to go to his office at the Avengers compound, you’d get kicked off without even having the chance to meet him.

“Please, Dr. Banner. I come from very far away, and my friend insists you’re the only one who can help me”, you tried, securing the door with your foot before he could even think of closing it before you.

A/N: This was highly inspired in one of the chapters of @divine-mistake 's Loki's series (the one where Loki wants to buy a bookshelf).

“I need your help”.

Loki stood on the doorway, waiting for you to grab your stomach and laugh your life away, or to close the door right in front of him, without saying a single word. Instead, you tilted your head —clearly confused, but as kind as you managed to be with him.

“What do you need?”.

He was taken aback by the question. He didn’t actually prepare a long speech, explaining with careful detail what he needed. He just found himself in trouble, knew that wouldn’t get it done without help, and could only think of you to go ask for it. He wasn’t expecting you to actually oblige.

“I… er— I was looking through this site you might have mentioned a while back… and, well, I… I haven’t met with the undernet properly, yet”.

“The internet”.

But there was one issue in particular, and it was the bargain for Thor's brother's staying.

“Hello?”, someone knocked at your door. You tried to open your eyes, but it was still too early. The sun was barely rising, and from that height, you should see it almost as it begins coming out. You sighed and turned around in your bed, but, expecting to find a little more space, you plummeted to the floor. A huge bonk made whoever was behind that door, knock again. “Darling? You alright?”.
