“I can’t believe he’s actually marrying a mortal”, muttered Loki over a glass of wine and a mouthful of wedding cake.

Thor’s wedding party was the most unbearable thing he had to attend in the whole week, and he has had to attend a long list of Avengers business —even earlier in that same day.

A/N: This was highly inspired in one of the chapters of @divine-mistake 's Loki's series (the one where Loki wants to buy a bookshelf).

“I need your help”.

Loki stood on the doorway, waiting for you to grab your stomach and laugh your life away, or to close the door right in front of him, without saying a single word. Instead, you tilted your head —clearly confused, but as kind as you managed to be with him.

“What do you need?”.

He was taken aback by the question. He didn’t actually prepare a long speech, explaining with careful detail what he needed. He just found himself in trouble, knew that wouldn’t get it done without help, and could only think of you to go ask for it. He wasn’t expecting you to actually oblige.

“I… er— I was looking through this site you might have mentioned a while back… and, well, I… I haven’t met with the undernet properly, yet”.

“The internet”.

Jotunnary | Day 8 - Mythology

“Mr. Parker, you’re having your presentation tomorrow morning”, said the professor, and Peter felt his whole body shrink and tense at the sole mention of that assignment. He nodded and packed his things up, ready to leave with the rest of the class.

Everything was fine.

You were in Loki's arms. His bedsheets ended up on the floor and you still weren't cold —he was holding you so closely to his body you forgot about the winter. He hummed something in your ear, whispering sweet nothings. You could smell the coffee getting ready from the kitchen's compound. You could hear the little drops of rain begin to grow. A perfectly beautiful winter morning.

Everything was fine, until Thor busted the door open.

Loki didn't even take the cucumbers off his eyes, too submerged in the game he and his daughter were playing. She, painting his nails black, had a dense and sticky face mask on her skin.

"Spa day", said Loki plainly.

A/N: Just to clarify any sort of confusion, Loki in here is a teenager. Not a kid! I imagine somewhere around sixteen human years. Also, whether this is a romantic or platonic relationship is up to you.

“Loki!”, called his mother from the columns, resting her back on one of them. “Come on, it’s getting late for dinner”.

Loki was more enthusiastic than usual to go train his magic at the rose gardens of his mother, and she wondered who had joined him. She was sure there was someone else involved, otherwise, Loki wouldn’t come out of it with such a bright and sincere smile, and good moods nobody else had managed to put him on.
