The grad life: day 3/50 - 09/09/23
Missed a few days as oh my gosh getting used to a new setting is exhausting, and I’m not quite settled in my new accommodation. I came home to my parents for the weekend and had such a lovely Saturday, opening my book on beekeeping thought the ages and across the globe, crocheting in the sun and baking a chocolate cake. A bit sad to be leaving tomorrow, but I do have fun things planned for next week (and just planned some more)
The Grad Life - day 27/50 (14/10/23)
Such a cosy Saturday: reading with my morning coffee and one of my favourite mugs (current read is Assassins Fate by Robin Hobb), charity shopping with my mother, finishing up a crochet project (the end is in sight!), and grocery shopping with my Dad. It’s noticeably colder and I’m loving it, I missed the feeling and the smell (?) of the chilly evenings.
The Grad Life - day 46/46 (10/12/2023)
Have made the executive decision to end the challenges few days early as I’m having a knee operation next week and I really don’t need to add hassle! But today was a good Friday to end on: soft November sun, books and coffee, and slowly getting though my list. I’ve got a weekend of walks and cleaning and resetting planned, and lots of rest. It’s going to be a great time.
I had a delightful Sunday last week: coffee and a wander around The Wallace Collection, walking though Marylebone with an obligatory stop at Daunt books, and then basking in the sun at Regent’s Park with a cupcake 🧁
Last week, just before it closed, I was able to catch the Fantasy: Realms of the Imagination exhibition at the British Library and it was truly amazing. The mix of old and new, books and films and games, plus they featured a few of my favourite books which is a sure way to get me on board.
