SO today yousef tagged these two guys in his insta story
so i did some light stalking investigating and found that they are:
adam essari - followed by cengiz, marlon, iman, yousef and ulrikke. also a professional singer 👀
he is 100% the balloon boy in the middle with the purest smile.
most clear resemblance i found in this photo from his insta.
THE OTHER BOY:
simo el - followed by cengiz, yousef and adam. im not 100% he but he could be the second balloon boy - theres no pics of him with a hat or smiling so its a lil hard to tell
but this old pic looks pretty similar and im 👀👀👀👀 look at that pure lil face
CONCLUSION yousef is proving himself just as extra as henrik with spoilers and i LOVE IT AND THE NEW BALLOON BOYS ARE LIL CUTIES AND ARE MY TWO NEW SONS

no not a bother at all!! so mikael is from the Video TM of even at bakka and fandom fell in love bc he is a true meme boy and is so cool. he referred to even as his best friend. he was also mentioned in a text thread between even and isak, where isak goes ‘who’s mikael’ and even replies ‘the previous man of my dreams’ ????? joking probably.
and my son yousef only came into existence yesterday when a fb profile popped up with the picture’s im sure you’ve seen!! and people are speculating so much - he was clearly friends with even and also the squad picture on his page is the balloon squad, who were seen approaching the girl squad (holding a big ass bouquet of balloons) on a bts video. there are some pretty romantic seeming pics of mikael and yousef where they’re lying on eachother/holding hands/being in love and its great i cant wait for the new squad

I love your enthusiasm and excitement! I am so excited! One small thing though, we shouldn't rush to the conclusion that they are Arab. If they are Muslim it doesn't mean they are Arab. If they are Arab it doesn't mean they are Muslim. Muslim is a religion and Arab is an ethnic group. Many Arabs are Jews & Christians as well. The actor playing Yousef is Turkish not Arab so we have no idea their identity yet. I say this with love, no hate intended❤️

yousef is a new character in skam, mari (who manages all the characters social media) put a fb profile of him up then made it private again! all the pics i posted are from his fb page before it went private

and now i’m honestly crying thinking about the first time even must have seen sana at nissen, when he was alone with no friends, leaving behind bakka and mikael and all his most likely muslim friends there, being by himself in a new place and a new setting with all these new people and new faces,
and then he must have seen sana, in her hijaab, all happy and bright and bubbling and smiling and her laughter echoing, and thought to himself,
“….. allahu akbar (allah is great). allahu akbar.”
and so as long as sana’s there, something that even can breathe a little easy in because it stabilises, gives him something to feel good about that connects to his past, makes him feel a little more comfortable, he’d be okay, insha’ allah. he’d be just fine.

im honestly so emo like never did i think i would see so many different arab characters on a western show before ????? this is so amazing like most of the balloon squad look arab, dkgjf its so great to sEE and like what makes me happiest is that in real life poc stick together and tend to form squads??? in primary and high school i was in a muslim squad because im jewish and didnt fit in with the xians (im hoping for jewish mikael honestly i know so many israeli mikael’s), and this issue was already hinted at with sana hanging out with white girls and its actually really important and theres this massive divide in high schools in western europe between xians an non xians. this just makes me so happy that skam might be adressing this thank u skam so much
